Hi, I'm in the UK. i just unlocked my BB 8310 two days ago (used to be T-Mobile). i checked MEP2, all disabled, and vendor ID from 123 changed to 179. I am using orange sim card. i can see ORANGE on screen, and small case gprs. I can't make any phone calls.
can you please help me?
Warning : Do not enter
any wrong unlock codes on your Blackberry Curve 8310 mobile phones. If
you enter over a certain amount of wrong unlock codes on your Blackberry
Curve 8310 mobile phone, your phone may get hard locked and sometimes
become unusable.
1 - Switch on your Blackberry Curve 8310 with any Sim card and Turn off all Wireless connections.
2 - Go to Settings.
3 - Go to Options.
4 - Select Advanced Options.
5 - Select SIM Card.
6 - Type MEPD using your Blackberry Curve 8310 keyboard (NOTE: You will not see any text appear on the screen while typing MEPD),
7 - Type MEP then hold 'ALT" key and type number 2.(NOTE: You will not see any text appear on the screen while typing MEP2),
8 - You will then be presented with a prompt "Enter Network MEP Code". Type in the Unlock Code and press in the track wheel / jog dial to confirm,
9 - Your Blackberry Curve 8310 will now be unlocked.
1 - Switch ON your Blackberry 8520 with your current network/service provider's SIM card.
2 - Using the menu go to Settings Menu -> SIM card and press select.
3 - While holding the SHIFT key, type mepd.(NOTE: You may not see any text appear on the screen while typing mepd)
4 - You should now see the five locking categories listed.
5 - While holding the SHIFT KEY, type mep2.(NOTE: You may not see any text appear on the screen while typing mep2).
6 - Release the shift key.
7 - You will now be prompted to enter the Network MEP code. (it will also state how many attempts left)
8 - Enter the Unlock Code.
9 - Enter Return/Enter.
10 - The Blackberry 8520 should then be unlocked.
