Hi,

User guide is here http://us.fluke.com/usen/Support/Manuals/default.htm?pid=37115

Includes info on how to measure voltage. For lower voltages it is simply a matter of selecting voltage measurement and putting the probes across the voltage (i.e. on each terminal of a 9v battery). For much higher voltages you may need special probes that effectively step down the voltage by a factor.

If this helps please leave feedback, if not let me know and I'll trya nd help some more!

Fluke 1651portable multifunction tester is displays Err 1

Error 1 is an indication that the self test has failed. This will require repair at an authorized Fluke service center. There is an internal problem with the meter. The only thing that you can try is to replace the internal battery. Should the battery be defective, the internal testing can be effected. I have only seen this occur once, but it is worth the attempt. Should a new battery not fix the problem, return the meter to Fluke for repair.

WHEN I TURN ON MY FLUKE 179 IT READS ERROR AND SHOWES CODE "EEPR" .

Hi, that is the error message indicating a EEPROM error and unfortunatlely, you can't do anything except have the meter serviced by either Fluke directly, or by an authorized Fluke test equipment dealer.

Since Fluke doesn't provide the specs and coding for their products, you wouldn't be able to repair the meter properly, even if you could burn and program your own chipset.

Here's a copy of the manual for your meter, so you can contact Fluke for servicing and see the other info relating to it (for your future reference)

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Fluke products are typically quality test instruments and there might be a possibility that you're still covered under their warranty, so checking with them is the best avenue for getting it back to working condition.

I hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!
