Is it sitting in the pan or is it elevated over the pan? It is hard to see the leaking if it is sitting flat in the pan. Check all the connections, top and bottom. Wipe them dry and then run your hand over the connections and feel for water. Also check under the heating element covers for leaks. Good luck!
VPR is a pour over "Volume Displacement" brewer. Required to completely fill the inner tank and heat prior to using brewer. BEFORE plugging in unit, water must be poured into upper tray and with brew funnel and empty pot in place. Keep pouring water into top fill tray until water drips out of brew funnel. Plug in VPR and allow it 15-20 mins to heat up. leave the pot as there may be additional water dripping. Remove power if there is any water spilling out from other places like the top pan cover or bottom of machine. With the initial heating done, take a full pot of water and slowly pour into the top filling tray. HOT steaming water should come out of the brew funnel to fill the (empty) pot. Prep is done and the machine can be used to brew a pot after 10-15mins of reheat time.
*** the machine you have needs to be checked for leaks in areas mentioned above. Water should only come out of brew funnel (if not present then the brew head or if that is missing then the brew pipe. All will need to be replaced prior to brewing.) Leaking under machine is an indication of leak(s) in pour tray, tank, tank cover, gasket, probe gasket. This machine like any used equipment should be checked out by qualified tech prior to use. Be aware that coffee vendors sometimes rent or loan brewers to customers.
Under thin metal shell is a welded steel tank, surrounded by insulation and then covered with painted metal shell. The shell is what you look at. The inside steel tank is made to withstand high pressure expansion that comes with heating water. The steel tank has rusted out. Turn gas control valve to vacation, so pilot light stays on, and then only heat enough water as needed until you can replace tank.
hello, find your top radaditor hose, follow it to top of motor, should be a cover, where cover hooks to engine, thermostat is under cover, should be 2-3 bolts holding cover down, take thermostat cover off, you will see it sitting on top of motor. also check passenger side floor board, see if it is wet, if it is, then you probably need heater core, when they leak front windshield will fog up alittle, also check water in radidator see if it is low.
could have a hose leaking, heater hose, upper or lower radiator hose, coolant recovery tank leaking, radiator leaking, water pump leaking. You could put something under the car when you park it to get a general idea where to start looking for the leak. Make sure what ever it is you will be able to see the water when you get up in the morning. Might try a large piece of cardboard cut to fit under radiator and engine all the way up under fire wall just to have the whole engine bay area covered so you'll be able to find the leak
its possible that the drain pan behind the back freezer wall is clogged or coverd with ice, sounds like when unit goes into defrost melt water leaks under sides of drain pan and into fridge. unplug and remove back freezer wall if drain is covered with ice defrost the ice, can be prevented by loosely coiling a piece of solid copper wire around element and into drain slightly radiant heat during defrost should keep drain fromicing over. if drain is just clogged wth debris clean drain and you should be good to go, hope this helps you.
Sometimes the steam from under the hood, because it is over heat.
Check the water hose include the heater hose, it is a smaller hose behind the engine on the top near the back of the hood, find out which hopes is leaking.
If the hose is OK, check the freeze plug on the engine, because if the engine is too old, maybe the plug was rust and leaking, when it’s leaking, the engine is hot, you will see the steam under the hood.
When engine is hot, you have to be very carefully, do not open the water cap, if you want to open, you have to either wait a while or use a heavy towel to cover the radiator cap, then open it.
