If the washer is filling in the off position, try unplugging the power cord. If the machine continues to fill, you will need to replace the water inlet valve. Here is a link to the part you need.
yes its a leaky solenoid water inlet valve, shut off each water fill valve after using the machine and check the drum later to see if its still empty, then do the other4 valve and when you find water then thats the leaky valve, don't try to clean it,just replace the entire valve
water inlet valve in the machine is either sticky or faulty. get it replaced. till the time, after wash, keep your water valve (which supplies water to the machine) closed
sounds like you have a faulty water valve that does not close when the power is not supplied to the machine.or a problem with the cotrol board supplying power to the valve when the unit is not in use
sounds as if you have a bad inlet water vavle, it doenst complety shut off after use, and waer will trickle in( adding up to quite a bit in a day) youll need to replace the water inlet valve(directly behind themachine where the hoses hook into). in the meantime turn off water inbetween uses
The water fill selenoid had junk in it holding the valve open or the seat in the valve is damaged. Turn off the power and water, remove two screws on the back of the machine and remove the lid. On the back left top corner are the water fill selenoids. Remove these and disassemble by undoing the 6 or 8 screws ( depending upon model ) holding the unit together. Clean and reassemble, it should take care of the problem. If not, replace the selenoid.
yes it is the problem replace the water inlet valve
this is done by removing the top you will see the valve that the fill hoses connect to
make a diagram of the connections so that you get it right when you reassemble the unit
