Default codes for equipment for using Yamaha receiver remote

Can you please tell me where I can locate the default codes for an LG TV, Digital Device DVD player, Hi Con DVD recorder, Foxtel digital. I want to be able to use my Yamaha receiver remote to operate all of these devices. Strathfield told me that it's possible and that I could get the codes off the internet but I'm not sure where to look. Thanks

How to factory reset Yamaha RAV 352 remote for use with RX-V2500 receiver

To perform a factory reset on a Yamaha RAV 352 remote for use with an RX-V2500 receiver, follow these steps:
1. Turn on the RX-V2500 receiver using its power button or remote control.
2. On the remote, press and hold the "VCR 1" and "ON/STANDBY" buttons simultaneously. Hold both buttons for about five seconds until the remote's indicator light blinks twice.
3. Release the buttons. The remote control should now be reset to its factory default settings.
4. Test the remote by using it to control the RX-V2500 receiver. Make sure the remote is within range and pointed towards the receiver's IR sensor.
If the factory reset doesn't resolve any issues you're experiencing with the remote control, you may need to try replacing the batteries or consider getting a replacement remote from Yamaha or an authorized dealer.
Please note that the steps provided are based on general instructions for Yamaha remotes, and there might be slight variations in the specific procedure for your RAV 352 model. Consulting the user manual for your specific remote or contacting Yamaha customer support can provide you with more accurate and detailed instructions tailored to your device.

It's not working what can I do to program one for all controller to rca tv

HI,
The One For All 3 Device Universal Remote Control is preprogrammed at the factory to operate an RCA TV, a Toshiba DVD player, and a Motorola cable box. To control devices other than the default brands, perform the following steps; otherwise skip this section:

HOW TO PROGRAM

1.Turn on a desired device (e.g.,VCR or DVD player) and, if applicable, insert media (e.g., cassette or disc)

NOTE: Please read steps 2 through 4 completely before proceeding. Highlight or write down the codes and device you wish to program before starting step.

( CHECK THE BELLOW ADDED LINK TO FIND THE CODE )

2.On the remote control, press a device key once (i.e., DVD/VCR, CBL/SAT, or TV).

NOTE: To program control of a VCR, PVR (or DVR), TV/VCR Combo, or TV/VCR/DVD Player Combo press DVD/VCRonce. After programming a VCR Combo device, you will be able to control channel selection, volume, and VCR functions.
NOTE: To program control of a DVD Player, DVD Player/VCR Combo, or TV/DVD Player Combo, press DVD/VCRonce. After programming a DVD Combo device, you will be able to control channel selection, volume, and DVD functions.
NOTE: To program control of a Cable Box, Cable Box/PVR (or DVR) Combo, Satellite Receiver, or a Satellite Receiver/PVR (or DVR) Combo, press CBL/SATonce.

3. Press and hold SET until the LED (red light) blinks twice, then release SET

4. Use the Manufacturer's Codes (starting on page 18) to locate the type of device and brand name and then enter the first four-digit code for your device. If performed correctly, the LED will blink twice.

NOTE: If the LEDdid not blink twice, repeat steps 2 through 4 and enter the same code again.

5.Aim the remote control at the device and press POWER once. The device should turn off.
If it does not, repeat steps 2 through 5, trying each code for your brand until you find one that works. If it still doesn't work, try Searching For next code.

NOTE: If the device does not have a POWER key, press PLAY

6. Repeat steps 1 through 5 for each device you want to control. For future reference, write down each working device code following.

My Comcast remote will control my LG LHB535 receiver/blue-ray player in all respects but the volume. I used code 20591.

You need to change the volume lock for the remote to go to your AV receiver, not the TV. By default all Volume control will go to the TV, but you can change volume lock to go to AV receiver instead. I switched to DirectTv and had to do the same thing, so I may not have the right term used on comcast, but essentially the same thing.

Trying to control Zenith DTT900 box with Yamaha RX-V463 remote

Since Insignia and LG share compatible codes for digital-to-analog converters, review your remote control's manual for LG VCR codes as they should work to control the Insignia converter.

Remote Code

We would be happy to help you with getting your DISH Networkremote to control your LG REAR PRO. Pressand hold the TV button located on the top of your remote until all mode buttonback lights come on, then release. Use the number buttons to enter thecodes for your LG TV; here some of the codes we currently have: 506, 520, 627, 581, 766, and 512.Press the pound (#) button. To check that the code works try several differentfunctions on the remote to make sure it will properly operate the TV. Keep inmind that some codes may not be compatible with your equipment. If this is thecase, please try the other codes listed for that device until you find one thatis compatible with your equipment.

We hope this helps and thank you for being a valued DISH Network customer!

Comcast remote

The volume keys should be working by default, but you may have volume punch through turned on (meaning the remote is sending signals for TV or CABLE volume function no matter what mode you are actually on). To unlock volume control for AUX mode, do the following:
1. Press and release AUX
2. Press and hold SETUP until the remote blinks twice
3. Type 993
4. Press and release VOL-
The remote should blink four times to confirm unlock.
