Just got the same one and same problem, I also have a 5505i and is only zooms in close when i put in the c-map chip and it zooms close in the chip area only?? now i have a chip for the 5500i and it zoomed in but only on the Texas part of the map, that is the chip it came with, but i live in Canada. Be carefull the c-map max chip for the 5505i is not compatible with the 5500i it needs c-map nt+ chip. 5500 chip is black 5505 is orange

I had the same problem when I first started the Tracker up, but after rmoving and replacing the C+ card a few times, the details reappeared and have stayed ever since. I suspect a poor contact between the copper surfaces on the Tracker and the card. Steve

My navman tracker 5605 stopped dead. It powers up on the neighbour's boat and I have 13 volts running to and through the fuse. So I assume it is the cable. I have not split the cable open because the break...

Connect an automotive 12V lamp to the end of the cable to be shure the cable is faulty ,the voltmeter draws very low current and can be misleading ,a lamp
is better as it draws more current and will detect bad contacts, connect then the voltmeter to the lamp to check the voltage.
If bad cable is confirmed ,contact Navman dealer in Brazil to check if they have the cable.
