Air conditioners wring moisture from the surrounding air that collects in a pan under the cooling coil in the inside unit.

Chances are that the condensate drain is plugged or the drain pan is plugged. Look for a hose that exits the inside unit and runs to a drain. You can follow it back to the drain pan of the A/C unit. If there is water sitting in the pan, then either the hose or pan or both are plugged.

Turn the unit off, get a small bucket and remove the drain tube. Catch the water in the bucket. Blow through the drain line until it's clear. If the thought of doing this is too repulsive, then use an air compressor or even a manual tire pump. Now check the drain pan in the unit for debris and remove as much as possible from the pan and the drain fitting.

Both the pan and drain line should be checked at the beginning of each cooling season.

Reinstall the drain tube and see how it works!

I have a Daikin mini split system. It is leaking water from the inside unit inside my house. Why?

Dirty? Check your filters, shine a light inside to see blower wheel. Drain plugged? Wetvac on the drain outside.
Otherwise it's a cracked drain pan, bad fitting, drain is trapped multiple times, possible it's low on refrigerant.

Why does my split ac unit leak inside the house?

This happens when the drain pipe is too high, or kinked. The pipe must be lower then the drain pan in order for the water to drain. This is a common problem.

Just asking how many amps existing Sanyo SAP-K181AHA would be connected to in Australia. Need to replace it, is 4.5Kw cooling and same price to replace with 7Kw but unsure if 30amp already in place

The 4Kw constant speed Ac will draw about 7.6 amps @240vac while the 7Kw Ac unit will draw around 13.8 amps @ 240vac. This is normal running. extreme conditions will be slightly more no doubt. The figures are approximate.egardsCol R.digital controls.com.au

Leaks water inside

Water leak is the common problem in split air conditioners.. It happens due to:

1. Air filter block 2. Evaporator coil Block. 3. Less rpm of blower motor. 4. Drain line blocked.

To rectify, service the unit completely. If blower motor less rpm, replace motor capacitor.

Fujitsu split system air con leaking inside the house from the unit

The drain pipe must be plugged up or bent. Lift cover of unit and look for water in the tray, find drain hole and remove obstruccion inserting a piece of wire. Be gentle and careful. After the water in the tray drains out, pour a glass of water in the tray to rinse it out and make sure the drain pipe is completely clear.

While you are at it, clean the air filter of the unit.

Good Luck

Leaking water from inside samsung split sytem

if your indoor unit is leaking water down the wall,it is from one of two things.First, is possibly the insulkation on the copper lines is coming loose and the suction line is condesated, with no way to drain,it drips down the unit. The other possiblity is that the drain hose is coming loose from vibration and leaking a little.
