Make sure your Bluetooth is on, you have to hold the button on the hands free and when the flashing stops it should connect with your phon, hope this helps
Your radio needs to be turned off when on the charger, and be certain you are using a rechargeable Motorola battery. The charger will not charge AAA batteries or rechargeable style AAA batteries. If the light does not illuminate on your charger, try the radio in a different charger and see if it does. This will tell you if it is the radio or the charger. One further note, you should clean your charge contacts with a pencil eraser to insure they are making good connection.
The link below on page 7 has the sequence for turning on your headset
(Explorer 230 and 220 work the same). If you're still having problems,
then it needs to replaced.
Same thing happened to me. I call the support center and if you bought it from a 3rd party, it is probably a software problem. See if you can get a new one or buy it elsewhere.
I had the same problem but instead of a red light it would flash green twice and stay off. I could not find the original charger and another plug in charger would not work. I plugged it into my computer with a usb cable and after several seconds it started charging.
Turn the headset off.
Set your rumor to find new devices, then immediately turn the headset back on. The devices should pair together. If the rumor asks for a code, the code is 0000.
Wait, how long have you waited for it to charge? It's supposed to stay red until over 80% charge, then switch to yellow. When it is fully charged, it goes to green.
When you mean it stays red when plugged in, have you waited the 2 hours?
