How do i format Sony Ericsson W910i

My phone (SE W910i) seem to be "always" restarting by itself. I don't want to send to the vendor "again", cause i already sent it twice. Please Help...

My phone have problems :

1. when i try to open games or application list from desktop, the phone display "operation failed"

2.the Walkman icon on desktop cannot be executed , same with the Walkman button ( when i press the button or icon , nothing happen)

3.the "operation failed" msg are also diplay when im trying to run SensMe function

Can i do the formating on my own computer? how to do it? will it fix the current problem? or is there any other method i can use without formatting?

PLEASE HELP ME..Thank YOu!

Hi, When a phone restarts automatically by itself, it's usually caused by VIRUS on the phone. Applications will be affected and might not open.
You will need to remove the VIRUS off the phone before the phone will act normal again.

You will need to flash the phone. Flashing the phone will make the phone work properly again.

SE W910i default security code
The phone lock code protects your phone against unauthorized use if it is stolen and the SIM card is exchanged. To be able to switch the phone on, you need to enter the four-digit phone lock code. The Sony Ericsson default phone lock code is '0000', but you can change this to any 4-8-digit personal code. When you buy the phone, the phone lock is by default turned off.
Note: For security reasons, your operator, retailer or Sony Ericsson Contact Center cannot retrieve the lock code through the phone or the network. If you forget the code, locked phones must be sent to a service centre.

My sony ericcson w910i,won't turn on.
Transmitter as accessory I presume as W910 has no built in transmitter. Could be incompatibility issue. Reinstall fware using SEUS (SE Update Service).

The Phone Freezes
If you have a W910i like in the picture,then listen up. First of all, move the theme you are using to phone memory, (more>manage file>move). The resetting can be due to overloading (to much apps running and music playing and other stuff at once), although this will probably just cause the phone to be as slow as a turtle. The other possible cause can be firmware, which needs to be updated. Go to the Sony Ericsson website and the navigate to your phone and look for the firmware section. Or just type "Sony Ericsson Update Service" in Google.

Texting problem
get your service provider to send you a configuration sms,it has the message centre numbers and preferences within it..... accept it when you open the message on your phone, let it install, restart your phone and try again sending, should fix any probs :) Goodluck Chas
