Can i unlock a sk LX 2009?? It's a T-mobile phone my friend gave me.she bought it in Sept 2009. I want to unlock it to be able to use it on my ATT account. I've read some posts that they can't unlock this model... does anyone know if it can be done and if so,can you give me intstructions.. I appreciate any help you guys can give me. Thanks.

More than likely your contacts are still located in the old phone. Replace the Sim card back into the old phone and copy the contacts onto the Sim card, place back in your Sidekick and you then can locate your contacts.

hey i have att and trying to unlock my tmobile side kick i have the password for it but it keeps saying authenticating simcard then it turns off everytime

where are you located, you can usually google cell phone experts in your area to unlock the phone, it is usually about 50 bucks but i may be more with a side kick unfortunatly. You need special software that can give you unlock and puk code. Your best bet would be to ask your local att store, NOT CORPORATE. usually a parrot att or a retail location the associates are glad to give out that information.

an unlock code is not usualy free, because the code is different for every IMEI # (you can usually find the IMEI # beneath your battery). but depending on your phone make you can sometimes find programs that will automatically unlock your phone.I doubt there are any of the automatic unlock programs out for the sidekick lx 2009, because it is a new phone and it usually takes a while to create a unlock program.
