Exit full screen

It depends on what application is causing the full screen mode. Try one of the following
- hit Esc key
- Hold Alt button, while pressing Tab - this will bring up all applications that are running - you can select the desktop.
- press Alt and F3 buttons together - this will close the application that is running in full screen.

How can I find a calendar entry on iPod Touch?

Mobile devices like smartphones and iPod Touch has so many uses in day to day, they are quickly becoming the only thing needed in a pocket or purse, replacing address books, calendars and schedules. The iPod Touch allows many events in the calendar application, and you can easily include additional information for your upcoming events. Since much information about so many things can be stored on your iPod Touch, it would be much easier to find an event past or future than navigating to the Calendar application. Find the information you need to use the Spotlight search iPod.

1. Press the "Home" button on the iPod Touch to the Home screen.

2. Press the "Home" in the Spotlight search box.

3. Tap the search bar at the top of the screen and start typing a keyword of your event calendar. This is the title, location, or a word contained in the notes from the events screen.

4. Tap the event in the search results when it is displayed and you will be taken to the "Event Details" screen in the calendar application.
Garmin 1300 touchscreen has no response when i press the map button it does not respond, some buttons do respond but most do not, the buttons that do work send me to the incorrect application

It sounds like your nuvi would benefit from a simple screen calibration. You do this as detailed on page 47 of the manual. Since it is a very short procedure - I have transcribed it here for you.

1) Shut off the nuvi.

2) Press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds until the calibration screen appears (White screen with press dot").

Simply touch the dot as it moves on the screen. You might consider using a stylus or other relatively pointed object for the most accurate results.

That's it! If this was helpful, please rate it as such. Thanks & good luck!

The touchscreen us not working at all, the other buttons work

Hello

Do not put lotion on your hands and do not touch the screen if your hands are wet. Any kind of moisture can affect the way the touchscreen operates. Moisture sometimes slows the response time from the screen to the operating system.

Check for a protective sheet on the screen. If there is some kind of a film or sheet on the touchscreen, the screen is likely not able to react to all of the sensitivities of the touch of a finger as it normally would.

If there is an application open and the touchscreen seems to not be working, simply close the application and retry it. A frozen application can usually be closed by pressing and holding on the circular button located just below the touchscreen.

Completely reset the phone by holding the "Home" button and the "Reset" button for a full 10 seconds until the phone resets.

How do you fix a touch screen that does not respond? I have done a complete reset and still nothing. Thanks.

Have you already performed a clean reset? You might know that it will restore your device to its factory settings, thus deleting everything you have installed, as well as your personal data and settings. So, it is strongly recommended to backup your data beforehand.
Anyway, to perform a clean reset, press and hold the Calendar, Power, and Messaging buttons, and, whilst keeping them pressed, press and hold the reset pin with the stylus pen. When your device restarts, release the buttons and the stylus pen from the reset pin.
Hope it works for you.
Cheers! Carlos

I want to format my ipaq hx2410 please tell me how to do that

To perform a hard reset you need to press buttons 1 and 4 in addition to the reset hole. This should do the trick.

The guidelines for resetting your phone is given below

Performing a Hard Reset

Perform a hard reset only when you want to clear all
user-installed settings, applications, and data from RAM
(Random Access Memory), where data and applications you have
loaded are stored.

CAUTION: If you perform a hard reset, your Pocket PC loses all data
and programs not saved in iPAQ File Store.

To perform a hard reset:

1. Press and hold down the Calendar and iTask buttons.
2. While holding down these buttons, use the stylus to
lightly press the Reset button on the bottom of the iPAQ
Pocket PC for about two seconds.

3. When the Pocket PC screen begins to fade, release the
Calendar and iTask buttons first, and then remove the stylus
from the Reset button.

Note: If you simultaneously push and hold the Reset, Calendar,
and iTask buttons for more than two seconds, the battery
disconnects. To restart the device, either plug the device into the
AC Adapter or press the Reset button again.
After performing a hard reset, you may need to reinstall
applications stored in iPAQ File Store to restore shortcuts and full
functionality.

4. The Pocket PC resets and powers on.

To return your iPAQ Pocket PC to factory settings after
performing a hard reset:

1. Tap Start > Programs > File Explorer > My Device.
2. Tap the iPAQ File Store folder to open it.
3. Tap Edit > Select All.
4. Tap and hold the selected files, then tap Delete.
5. Tap Yes to delete all file in iPAQ File Store.

I´ve a pda hp h5455 that don´t start , i´ve tried to do a hard reset and charge it via USB and nothing hapens

To do the hard reset, while on battery (NOT A/C) power, hold down the two outside front-panel buttons (Calendar and iTask), While holding them, press the reset button with the stylus. Keep these buttons all pressed until the image on the screen begins to fade (about 4 seconds), then you can release the reset and application buttons. To restart your iPAQ, you must then plug the unit into A/C power, or do a Soft Reset by again, pressing the reset button with the stylus.

Resetting the Device

Sometimes there is a need to reset your Pocket PC. Resetting the

Performing a Soft Reset

A soft reset stops all running applications, but does not erase any
programs or saved data. Be sure to save any unsaved data within
a running application before performing a soft reset.
Perform a soft reset to:
■ Stop all running applications
■ Install a new application
■ Restart the Pocket PC if it stops responding

To perform a soft reset:

1. Locate the recessed Reset button on the bottom of your iPAQ
Pocket PC.
2. Use the stylus to lightly press the Reset button.
The Pocket PC restarts and displays the Today screen.

Performing a Hard Reset

Perform a hard reset only when you want to clear all
user-installed settings, applications, and data from RAM
(Random Access Memory), where data and applications you have
loaded are stored.

CAUTION: If you perform a hard reset, your Pocket PC loses all data
and programs not saved in iPAQ File Store.
