My nintendo ds lite console does not power on. I plugged the charger and the orange light disappear in one second.
The charger may have had it how long have u had it? this is very common fault that the charger will just give up so to speak im not sure how to 'revive it' but my only solution wld be if your keen to buy a new charger but depends how long you have had it and how much u use it if you get what i mean if you over use of it can sometimes bust it so yeah.. i hope i helped your situation :)
Well I attempted to help you but you rated me horrifically even though I answered you question.
I'm extremely sorry for what your going through. This is most likely a
problem with your battery. If your not very computer smart then your
only solution would be to send it into Nintendo. If you are computer
smart you could order a new battery off the internet and replace your
broken one.
Either way, I personally would just send it in for free repair before its too late.
If I helped you, please help me by rating me well.
Thanks,
Brandonmxb
I'm done helping you. You rate me horribally even though I give you a perfect answer. Bye.
Well, man. I do this for free. The least you could do would be to show some appreciation instead of kicking my rating down by doing that.
There's my solution, take it or leave it.
It's completely fine. If you could fix this for me though: I need to to rate me as good because you rated me as bad. Just go here.
If you ever need help make sure to ask me.
I'm working my hardest to become a premium expert.
Thanks,
Brandonmxb
I'm just glad that I helped. You scared me there for a second because I didn't understand what I did wrong. But still, if you ever need help please ask me. I would be more than willing to help you.
Thanks,
Brandonmxb
Well, um... I would say it's not the battery for sure. The best solution now would be to send it into an online repair professional.I don't know how much it would cost but I found one for you. Here is it, here.
Thanks,
Brandonmxb

sorry, i didn't mean to double posted. My browser freeze and I thought it didn't go through. I brought the DS console ds lite from Ebay and the seller is located in Hong Kong. I received the DS console ds lite about 3 days ago. The power was working fine up until this morning. This morning when i tried to use it, the ds console does not power on. I tried to charge the console, the orange light went on for a second then disappeared. I thought it was the AC adapter so i went to a friend house to try his AC adapter and didn't work either. We then swapped the battery and it didn't work either. The battery that came in the ds console works on my friend ds console lite and the AC adapter that came with the ds console works on my friend ds console. With that said, i could rule out the battery and the AC adapter. Not sure what is wrong with it. If you could assist, i would be appreciate.
Thank you
I just added more comments to the problem. Hope to find a solution. Thank you!
do you think the battery an issue even the battery that came with the console worked on friend ds console but not mind.

okay... going back to my problem about ds console does not power on. I've replaced the battery from my friend ds console and still couldn't power on. The battery from my ds console worked on my friend ds console. do you think the issue is the battery? i called Nintendo for support but the serial number is not in their database because i purchased from Hong Kong. What should I do?
thank you for the link... i will check this out.
Why would anyone help you since you double posted?
