After trying for 2 days over many hours I still cannot get the reader to connect with the TAG download site - The error message says that the server is busy and to try again later - There is also a problem with finding a driver for the TAG pen - Is the tag reader faulty I have 3 new books to download to the reader but cannot do this as I cannot contact the website

The problem was the firewall settings - Leapfrog provide a fix for this on http://www.leapfrog.com/support

Error connecting to server

Error messages can mean several things. You may have lost internet connection for a short period or your tablet may be having problems with downloading. This is a common problem that happens to devices if they aren't working properly with internet or you could have interferance. Try down loading later at night, late late and see if it just happens to work.

Download error, http response: 404 not found i can no longer download videos from youtube.

This isn't an error at your end, what this error message means is that the server hosting the files for downloading has changed the location of the file you are trying to download. So the URl address of the file has changes and when you try to download the file with the old address it throws very popular 404 error.

So don't worry about it, try after 1-2 days and you will able to download.

Please try below instructions if they help .

You will want to use the LeapFrog Connect Tag Fixing Tool to see if you can resolve the issue. The instructions for Mac, and PC are listed below:
PC instructions:
1. Begin with LeapFrog Connect closed
2. Click here: http://lfccontent.leapfrog.com/cs/tools/LeapFrogTagFixTool.exe for the download executable file.
3. A File Download box should pop up. Select "Run"
4. You will be prompted for a location to download the program to, you will see a message "Unzip to folder"
5. Click Browse and select your desktop as the location to save the folder
6. Click "Unzip"
7. This should create a folder on your desktop named "LeapFrogTagFixTool
8. On XP: Open the folder and double click on the TagFixTool to open
9. On Vista or Windows 7: Open the folder and right click on the TagFixTool and select "Run As Administrator"
10. Connect the Tag Reader or Tag Junior to the computer and turn it on
11. Click the button "Click once to fix your Tag Reader or Tag Junior"
12. Once the repair process is complete, follow steps printed on the screen to close the program and open LeapFrog Connect.
Mac instructions:
1. Download the LeapFrogTagFixTool.dmg and mount the image. File is located here: http://lfccontent.leapfrog.com/cs/tools/LeapFrogTagFixTool.dmg
2. Drag the FixIt application into your Applications folder.
3. Close the LeapFrog Connect application (if it is open.)
4. From the Applications folder, double-click the FixIt application file to open the LeapFrog Tag Repair Utility program.
5. Connect your Tag Reader or Tag Junior to the computer.
(Make sure your toy is powered on.)
6. To start the repair process, click the "Click once to fix your Tag Reader or Tag Junior" button.
7. Once the repair process is complete, follow steps printed on the screen to close the program and open LeapFrog Connect.
Note: Please be sure to be signed into your admin account and are connecting to a USB port directly on the computer, not a port on the keyboard or other hub.

The problem is clearly indicated on the error code.

"the server responded 521 user is over the limit for messages to be sent in a single day."

Have you been sending a lot of messages using that account? From yahoo:

The limit for messages for yahoo is 100 per hour, max 500 per day.

If you believe that you are the one not doing this, you can either report this to yahoo or checked your Yahoo! account immediately. Change the security settings and most specially the passwords. It could be that your account is used as a spam bot.

Welcome to the servers at call of duty :)
I've got a ps3 and call of duty 4+5, half the fun of the game is playing with a mate and I've had exactly the same problem as you. It just seems to be about trial and error sometimes, have tried connecting like you for over an hour before and then on other days it just connects wth my mate straight away.
Sometimes it helps to join a game(so you can see and hear other players) then invite your mate, if he/she to reply to your invite is quick sometimes you can get in that way.
The only other bit of advice is to try different times of the day as the load on the servers does change throughout the day, apart from that it really is an issue with activision and for me the playstation network

Computer will not download the connect cd
