How can I use my lg lcd tv model m1994a for my ps3 there's no video signal,I try it all inputs to my lcdtv from av cable.component video,and hdmi cable still there's no video signal,but if I'll connect to any 32 inches lcd tv there's a video signal,,,why???and how???

When you make the connection with HDMI are you changing the source or input key on the television to activate HDMI port? If you don't activate the corresponding source you connect to and leave the TV in the TV mode, you won't actually see the device you are connecting. It's possible the TV does not support the 1080P from your PS3.

Try a different HDMI cable, then try the other HDMI inputs on the TV, then try to connect another HDMI device to the TV. If all are still bad main board needs replaced

You'll need to make sure that your laptop & LCD TV have an HDMI port. If they both do, simply connect an HDMI cable from your laptop to your LCD TV and make sure the input on the LCD TV is set to receive A/V from the HDMI port.

Intenta conectar primero el PS3 a la LCDTV por medio de las entradas RCA, en la parte trasera de la TV, con el cable de conexion que viene con el PS3, si aun no obtiene video, intente conectar, de la misma manera, el PS3 a otra TV sin capacidad HDMI. PS3 outputs hi definition video through HDMI ie 1080p. Your tv will not support that resolution. Because its a HD ready one ie 1080i. If you wnat to connect the PS3 through the hdmi then you have to down convert the video output resolution of PS3 to 1080i. for that you have to connect the PS3 to any FULL HD tv and go to the HDMI video setup and down convert the resolution to 1080i. After that you can connect the PS3 to you tv. Surely you will get the video.

There is one more way to get the video in you tv. connect the PS3's component video output to the component video input of you tv and the audio output to the corresponding component audio input . Select component video input on the tv. You need a component video cable and a stereo RCA cable for that.

This kind of tv u must have cable or satalite tvs pay broadcasting signal cable,so u have a box .Tv have HDMI ports or RCA AV component cable input?The incomming broadcating tv signal go to the cable or satalite boxes.Than u use a HDMI cable or RCA AV component cable go through those boxes than to ur tv HDMI input ports or RCA AV component cable input holes.

I have noticed using an HDMI cable that with some of the newer tvs you have to set up the tv also to enable HDMI for a game system. Like you said before internet tv and blueray dvd player work fine. Try adjusting the settings on the tvs themselves. I have a 50in DLP mitsubishi, and had a very troubling time getting my ps3 to work on that particular tv set while it worked flawlessly on other sets. And what I had to do was enter my tv setup menu and then power on my ps3 with both my AV and HDMI cables connected, it would pick up the AV first. Then I would alter the video settings on the PS3 for HDMI, and unplug the AV cable. Exit the tv menu and then reenter it. Then I had to setup my HDMI port from the tv to game in order for it to work, where you can set options ar usually like cable/dvd/sat, and so on. Without my TV being set to game that way it would not work. Try this and see if it helps. Good Luck.

I can't be exactly sure without more information, but it sounds like you ps3 is outputting from another port. My ps3 originally was outputting from the component/composite cable port so in order to use the hdmi output I had to do a soft reset. That makes the ps3 sense what cable is plugged into it and automatically output through that port instead of using whatever is the saved setting.

With your ps3 turned on hold down the power button for a few second until it beeps and flashes 3 times (should be about 5 seconds). You might have to try it a few times to get it to work, but you should get picture and be able to adjust the settings on the ps3.
