I am making discs using the everio share station. Even though I have the date showing when I play it through the camera, it does not show up when I play the disc back. How do I get that to work?

Unfortunately, with everio share station will not allow you to do it that way. You really, absolutely need the date and time on the video, you will have to capture the date and time with another device. For example, the one touch video capture vc500 will do that for you. To my knowledge, there are no software out there that can capture date and time at the moment.

I am trying to burn a DVD with my everio share station but it says non compatiable disk I have tried plus and minus which one should I use

The ONLY discs it will use are the DVD-R discs. And the cheaper, the better. The more expensive discs, for some reason, just do not work.

Hook Everio camera to JVC share station - will not make dvd -

First, make sure that you are using ONLY DVD-R discs. And the cheaper, the better. For some reason, the more expensive ''name brand" discs do not work as well. If that doesn't work, try cleaning the laser. But make that your last resort.

Share station says incompatible disk

The Everio ONLY accepts DVD-R discs, nothing else. I do not know why. I use the cheapest discs that I can find as I have found through the years that they work the best. I have had my Share Station for about 3 years and it works great.

Can't burn from jvc everio hard disk cam to the share station

The Everio only accepts DVD-R discs, and the cheaper, the better. I burned a lot of coasters for my cats to chase when I tried using the 'name brand' discs. I buy cheap off-brand discs and have no problems.

Jvc burner is burning for 7 to 8% only, showing change the disc even using DVD-R,DVD-RW

Use the cheapest DVD-R discs you can find. I have found that the expensive discs did not work for me. All I ever burned were coasters that I flung around the living room for my cats to chase! They loved DVD burning days! For some reason, the expensive discs just do not work.

Cannot write to disc

Is this the unit?

It says the Everio only uses DVD-R or DVD-RW DVDs. Is that the type of DVDs you are using?
