try turning off off for a min. or two that always help. call your co. and find out if the tranmitters are working they may be working on something in the area you are at. they can tell you if you have fair, good, or great coverage just by telling them the area ( zip coded) you are in. If all else fails like it my case, request a new phone.
sir/mam, try to refresh your phone remove battery, sim card and memory card for at list 1 minute then put it again then test, if not reformat/reprogram your phone, go to cellphone repair shop.
how full is your text message bin? if this is to full, it will not send and will soon not recieve...what size sim card is it,if you have at&t bring it in a try a new sim card
I have the same problem. the difference is that since the beginning it says "no sim card insted" and i tried with two sim cards (vodafone both) and none of them work. what can i do?
Friend, it is very simple don't be worry. INSERT SIM when the sim card terminal is not properly connected or contacted to your sim card. Check whether the terminal connector of the SIM is properly in place. Bend it slowly if neccesary inorder to get a close to the sim so that sim card error will be prevented. Just do it friend it will be fine.good luck

Consult Virgin to get the proper settings for their network.
Your phone is still carrying the old settings from your old provider, thats why it giving you this error.
I believe Virgin has these settings available on their homepage, otherwise give them a call and let the supporter help you through the setup process.
