To clean stains on the Russell Hobbs 2 Plate Mini, you can follow these steps:
Turn off and unplug the mini stove to ensure your safety.
Allow the plates to cool down completely before cleaning.
Make a solution of equal parts of white vinegar and water in a spray bottle.
Spray the stained areas with the vinegar and water solution.
Let the solution sit for a few minutes to break down the stain.
Wipe the plates with a soft cloth or sponge, applying gentle pressure.
For stubborn stains, sprinkle baking soda on the plates and scrub gently with a sponge or brush.
Wipe the plates clean with a damp cloth and let them air dry completely before using the mini stove again.
Note: Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scrubbers as they may scratch the surface of the plates. Also, avoid using harsh chemicals that may damage the surface or the heating elements of the mini stove.
To clean your airpot you have to first make sure that it is turned off and unplugged. Pour out the water that is still in the airpot if there is some and allow it to cool down. Once it has cooled down you can begin to clean it.
You want to start with a since of the inner lining using hot water. Use a sponge to get loose debris off the lining and rinse again.
Fill the pot up again with hot water and few drops of mild dish soap, let this solution sit for 10-15 minutes. Using your sponge again scrub the inside of the pot then make sure to rinse both the sponge and the inside of the pot to get all the soap out.
If there are any mineral deposits in the pot you should fill it with hot water and about 2 Tbsp of white vinegar. Let it soak for about an hour an then rinse thoroughly you don't want the taste of vinegar in your water.
To clean the spout you pour some of the water and vinegar solution out the spout then rinse with fresh hot water.
Finally to clean the outside use a damp cloth to wipe it down and a dry one to wipe it dry. in the case that you have stains on the outside use a mild dish soap to clean, rinse with clean cloth and then use a dry one to wipe dry.

Using a small brush (old toothbrushes work well) dipped in hot soapy water, go around the door of the dishwasher taking care to get into the grooves and crevices of the rubber seal. Most likely, you'll be surprised at the debris that has built up, especially at the bottom of the door and around the hinges on the side.

Scrub well. You may need to use a soft abrasive cleanser, such as Soft Scrub® to remove the dried and baked on grime.

Using a household sponge dipped in hot soapy water, wipe off the dirt and grime that you stirred up with the brush. Go over the inside of the door and scrub any obvious areas inside the dishwasher that may have stuck-on food, such as out of reach corners.

Pull the bottom rack out and examine the drain area. Wipe around it to be sure there are no hard chunks that can plug the drain, cause damage to the pump or scratch dishes. You'd be surprised at what dishwasher repairmen find

Hi I just had the same problem. i used the rough side of my sponge to clean my microwave. Bad idea I left scratches all over and it had discoloration too. What I did after searching and becoming frustrated is use the same sponge that caused my problems and went the opposite direction of the scratches and it worked!! I hope this helps someone because it saved my microwave. (its also clean steel)
All you have to do is fill the coffee pot (to the top with hot water and add some automatic dishwasher soap. Let it sit and ALL of the stains will come out...like magic!
yes...believe it or not, T-CUT car polish...it really does work, even removes scratches from cd's, and scratches on the plastic wind deflectors on car windows
First thing I thought of was that your pots have oil or build-up of some kind on the bottom. Try cleaning them with a solvent of some kind. As an experiment, try using a pyrex pot to see if that makes a difference. As for cleaning the cook top, I use a vinegar and water solution with a soft cloth or very low abrasive scrubber as you can scratch the glass quite easily on some kinds.
I used Bartender's Friend. You can find it at Home Depot. Its best to put it on a sponge, rub it on and let it set for about 5. Then scrub with a steel pot cleaner or copper one. It hard to do since the grid is in the back of the dryer but it came off!! Basically, clean it like you would a burnt pot or pan with the Bartender's Friend.
the problem is where the pin on the beater shaft locks into the hook may be wearing down or the hook itself.when you put the hook on see if you get alot of play in the hook (wiggle it and if it feels really loose its worn).its still safe to use but eventually (and this may be quite sometime) the pin may break off the beater shaft.you would then have to replace the pin and hook.
