Seeking HP 19B II battery door

HP doesn't sell spare parts for these calculators any more. If the door is the only part you need and the parts of the case opening that hold the door in place are still good, you could make a replacement door.
See the thread about making a battery door for an HP 28S (which uses the same case design as the 19BII).

HP vs 19b LCD monitor power

You need to start by looking at the power supply section first for bad caps, the problem can also be in the inverter or bad lamps. does it do the same when it is hooked up to other PC?
see the one I just fixed with bad lamp problem: http://s807.photobucket.com/albums/yy352/budm/HP%20VS19D/

Batteries

You can try switching over to 2500 mAh Nickel Metal Hydride rechargeable batteries and you will see a difference.
Digital cameras with zoom lens need more power than what can be supplied by ordinary batteries.
