Manual I have a Boinaire BCM630 humidifier and I don't know how to use the control panel. I am trying to get a manual for this unit.

    I have misplaced the manual for the Crane Elephant and need to know the proper care and cleaning instructions.


    Both my daughters, ages 4 and 2, have suffered/are suffering Croup cough and this humidifier has helped in the past, but I need to clean it thoroughly to avoid bacteria and mold from growing.


    Please help!

My Aprilaire humidifier is not working, even with humidistat in TEST position
May be an issue with the solenoid valve. check for voltage at the valve. if there are error codes check the owners manual for cause. I am providing a link to the manual if you don't already have one. the last thing to check would be the control itself. the control and the solenoid valve are the 2 main items for the unit. hope this helps.

How do you set and or reset the "filter replacement"schedule on the April air #700 model?
The owner's manual reads "After the Water Panel is replaced, turn the Control knob to the “Test/Reset” position until the green “Humidifier ON” light flashes, to reset the Water Panel change timer."

The red light is always on in my humidifier control panel. When I set it to test, I hear nothing clicking. No water runs into my humidifier. The unit (model 600) is about 6 years old.
if your using an outdoor thermostat then it may not be connected properly or the manual mode resistor wires are touching. these are connected on the humidistat just to the right of the H H terminals

Bionaire BCM630
Remove the water tank from the main unit. Now look down into the unit where the water tank sits. There is a small knob that you need to turn counter clockwise and the lower part of the unit incl the filter will slide out.
