Cant join parties on xbox live, i tried everything.

First you would have to connect your Xbox to the internet. Steps for this can be seen on xbox.com. Assuming you have already connected it to the internet, you can either purchase an Xbox live gold membership with a credit card on xbox.com, or use a prepaid subscription card and enter the code on the xbox live marketplace. connect your xbox to internet. click on your account and select"join xbox live" when you register you will be started off with a free trial go to gamestore and buy an xbox live gold membership monthley card or buy a gold member ship online. once your trial runs down you will live off a silver account which doesnt let you join partys, play online with friends,etc.

im sure you have a xbox live silver/gold membership.

if not purchase a membership, enter the code.

if you already have a membership then the problem is worse than thought.

i have found that sometimes when trying to activate a membership that xbox wont let you. try creating a new user and regestering for xbox live.

ok well ill giv u a check list on how to do it 1 hav a broadband connection 2 connect an ethernet cable to your modem from your xbox 3 u are now connected to the internet so either buy a reedeemable xbox live gold card from the store or enter credet card info and use xbox's direct buy for ur gold membership

1- xbox live marketplace is experiencing high volume.

2- Your Internet provider is undergoing maintenance.

Solution= try again when volume is reduced maybe early AM or late PM, and check your internet for connectivity, (if you can play games on xbox live without issue then it's probably Microsoft, not you.
