Can't make coffee

Hey we have a vienna super automatica and we can't seem to get the coffee to work - we can engage the steam light but we are unable to engage the coffee light we are just staying at our parents house and don't really know how to use this machine thanks

The middle light remains blinking and does not stop so I am unable to make coffee. Apparently the machine may need descaling (have been using tap water which is a no no) and you need to buy the appropriate descaling solution and not vinegar.

The middle light remains on and continues to flash. Not able to brew any coffee. According to the manual it may be time to descale b/c I have been using tap water which is a no no. Vinegar is not to be used but need to buy appropriate descaling product.

Saeco vienna super automatica coffe maker produces very little coffee and it comes out very slow.

sounds like your pump. When you turn steam knob on, you should hear the pump go bump, bump, bump. When hot water is turned on, you should hear pump run steady.

My Saeco Vienna Black Automatica Espresso maker will grind coffee only about one-fourth of the time. Other times, it makes whirring sound and then shuts off and red "coffee bean" light comes on.

Your grind is to fine. Turn the big knob in the bean hopper up 4 clicks and try again. It could be oily beans which would require the same solution.

The brew group does not seem to engage properly. All the lights work, along with steam and water out of the wand. The red light flashes and switches between red and cup back and forth. It does start the...

Hi
Check behind the drip tray for coffee grounds. Make sure that your drip tray is locked in. If its not fully locked it, this could be your problem. If everything is removed but the brew unit, grab the handle without pushing the press button, and pull. If the brew unit comes out, it wasn't locked in. Put the drip tray in. Set the brew unit on the drip tray. Now slide the brew unit towards the machine with a little force and see if that locked it in?

Coffee and steam lights flash after using steamer and will not go solid

Hi
Once you have finished steaming, turn the steam button off, then open the knob and let the steam out. The water pump will turn on again and bring the temp back down. When the pump changes tone, the light will go off and you can brew again. It takes less than 10 seconds.

Grinder setting i

0 is the finest setting. If you read the manual, it advises to adjust your grinder ONLY when the grinder is actually working. Also, you should only adjust it gradually from one setting to the next (ei. from 2 to 3), and wait about 5 cups before adjusting the setting again.
