I'd already tried that, when I plug the camcorder in to my computer, adobe photoshop immediately starts up and downloads the videos which is no good as its not a video editing programme. I like using the Roxio Creator I have and have had no trouble getting the video clips from my two digital cameras on to it. I'm getting a new computer next week so am hoping to have better luck then, though I'll keep trying
