Hi Hans, Unfortunately that remote control will NOT work on a hisense television... The link below is a sky remote control codes site, Scroll down the list and HISENSE isn't on the 3 or 4 digit list. Sorry mate......
If you wish to get more details; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Common set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the "device's brand name list" in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts.
Firstly, try changing the batteries. If you've already changed then the remote has probably lost the TV code.
If you can post your exact Alba Model number, I will post the correct code and programming instructions for you.
It would also be useful if you can post you Sky remote version number - it's on a sticker in the battery compartment. I need to know if it's Rev 8, Rev 6, Rev 4 or just RC1600/00.
As you used 0060 and it didnt respond please try to programma with the other 3 didgit codes.
If still you cannot programme it follow the below instruction:
1. To control your TV firstly switch on the TV set, point the Sky remote at the TV, 2. Press the "TV" button on the Sky remote, then press and hold the "Select" and "Red" buttons together until the red light at the top of the Sky remote control flashes twice. 3. Continue with this process by continuously pressing "TV" then "Standby" then "TV" then "Standby" etc until the TV set switches off. This will start using the inbuilt codes to programme the remote.
