Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the Coby website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.

then follow these instructions to add music;
**Drag and Drop**
Connect your MP3 player to the computer. Some MP3 players connect directly to a USB port, while others connect to a USB port by way of a specific USB connector that comes with the MP3 player. Open the folder on the computer that contains the music files you want to transfer. This is usually the "My Music" folder, available from the "Start" menu, but it can be any folder where you save your music files. Scroll down to the song you want to transfer to the MP3 player. Right-click on the title. When the options are displayed, click on "Send To." Scroll down the "Send To" options and select your MP3 player. This can be listed as your MP3 player's name or as "Removable Drive." Click on this selection. Continue this process until you have transferred all songs that you want to your MP3 player.
--**Windows Media Player**--
If you have a large playlist to transfer, you may prefer to do it from your media player, such as Windows Media Player. Once your MP3 player is connected to the computer, open Windows Media Player. Click on the "Sync Music" tab. Drag songs that you want from your Windows Media Library over to the "Sync Music" column to create a playlist. Click the "Begin Sync" tab at the bottom once you have all of the songs on your playlist. This action will sync all of the songs to your MP3 player with one click. Disconnect your device once songs have been transferred by clicking on the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the bottom-right side of the desktop tray.

When i download music onto the player it just says no files

plug the device into a computer, access the device through my computer and inside of the device make a folder called "MUSIC" then drag and drop all of your music into there. That should fix your problem.

I don't know how to download music into the GoGear VIBE mp3 playe

Usually most mp3 players work as a flash drive when you plug them into your computer. Some won't let you transfer or play while charging, but this one looks like it gives you an option to.

Open Windows Explorer (to see the drives, folders and files) and plug your mp3 player in. Select Charge and transfer. A new Removable Device should appear in Explorer with a drive letter assigned to it. It could be F:, G:, H:, etc... Just copy your mp3s onto that drive.

When you are finished, clock Safely Remove Hardware in the bottom right corner of your screen and select the mp3 player device and stop it. A message will appear saying that it is safe to remove this device. Then unplug it and enjoy!

Please help

You need to transfer the music onto the player using Sonicstage software. This program encrypts the music files so that the player is able to read them. You can download it here - http://support.sony-europe.com/dna/downloads/downloads.aspx?f=sstage_dl

DOES NOT RECOGNIZE PLAYER WHEN CONNECTED

ive got the new version of the sony sonic stage downloaded onto my laptop, and when i plug my player into my laptop via usb cable, the player itself is recognized straight away as a harddrive/removable disk etc,and you have to transfrer music onto the player as from sonic stage music library, and you also have to creatate you own music library via sonic stage, and u can also transfer music from your own music library wich you use via windows media player, and also u can transfer a cd into you sony sonic stage music libraty, and this is similar to when your using the windows media player as to rip a cd or transfer music onto an mp3 player,as i use all diffrent types of mp3 players myself, and i find the archos gmini sx 202 player to be pretty awesome player,as ive got to of them as well, and i use windows media player as to transfer music files onto them, and i cannot transfer any music files onto the sony ones via windown media player as those music file wont show up on the player at all,and ive tried this myself, and it will only work via sony sonic stage.

Not playing songs/ transferring to MP3 player on Rhapsody.

You probably have to redownload the songs again. Forget about the pictures, this player is pretty buggy, it's not worth it.

Software on 2 computers

You can set up the SonicStage software on multiple PC's / Laptops. You can also transfer songs from your MP3 player to your PC and Laptop or vice versa.

Try rebooting your laptop while the USB MP3 Player connected to the USB port. After reboot, try clicking on the installed SonicStage icon. If this goes through then your MP3 player will be detected and you can now transfer music to it.
