I have a Whirlpool Accubake oven (SF362LXSS0) that doesn't seem to be consistently turning on, and the problem's getting worse. ... Take a look at the oven ignitor,you might have two.The one at the top is the broiler ignitor.And the one at the bottom is your oven ignitor under your lower oven plate.

most likely you have a bad ignitor,pull out the racks and remove the floor to the stove,turn on the bake,if the ignitor glows but it takes more than 40 seconds for the flame to light you have a bad ignitor even though it glows and if it doesn't glow at all the ignitor is bad,also if the broil lights on top and the bake doesn't change out the ignitor.next time send the model number and i can look up your machine to help you better.

A small fuse is mounted in line with the power going into the control.

Yes there is a thermal fuse for the oven that if it blew all power to the oven would be cutoff,the fuse is not resettable and if it blew would need to be replaced

Actually for the Whirlpool Accubake I just figured out, the bake button didn't work, but holding the broil button did the trick.

Some gas ranges may take 10 or so minutes to light.
Other than that you may have a defective glow bar ignitor.
If it glows and does not light the reistance in the ignitior has failed.
