I just purchased a 6 series LCD and can't remove the stand. Yes - I see the screws but can't figure out what size screwdriver will fit? The one's I try can't seem to turn the screw. Anything special you might have done while unscrewing?

Just taken the stand off my LG 42LC2D. The stand is made of cast aluminum and has 2 long legs that insert into the base of the TV. So to remove the stand lay the TV on its screen and remove the two screws that are vertically in line next to the power socket the the 2 screws that are vertically in line under the RGB socket. The stand then pulls out from the bottom of the TV.

There should be some screws (4-6) for the stand-usually the stand screws location are illustrated on the user manual- have a quick look on the net for a pdf which has the info:)

I have wall mount and now I need remove the pedestal stand from the TV. But I have lost the manual and can some body explain the steps to remove the stand? Thank you

Without knowing the model of your TV, it may be tough, but typically it's 1 or 3 types:
- the whole base is a single piece that slots into the bottom of the TV, with a clip release.
- the base removes from the stand, and the stand removes from a slot in the TV. This may be fastened with clips or screws.
- the base is screwed into the TV, and you'll have to remove these to remove the stand.

If that doesn't help, please provide more details, like the make and model of your TV.

I cannot remove the LCD stand

Hello:
Although you're not providing much information (in the future, please provide a specific model number), normally there are two philip's head screws on the underside of the stand that need to be removed before the stand will come off. Hope that helps. If not, repost and provide a model number.

Can't remove the base/feet - i want to mount on the wall. if there are screws, we can't find them - tried allen wrench, phillips, etc., no luck. thank you

See page 5 of the owner manual:
Removing the Pedestal Stand
1) Carefully lay the front of the unit face down on a flat,
cushioned surface such as a quilt or blanket. Leave the stand
protruding over the edge of the surface.
Note: Extreme care should always be used when removing
the pedestal stand to avoid damage to the LCD panel.
2) Remove the jack pack cover on the back of the TV to expose
the pedestal stand screws. The jack pack cover can be removed
without tools.
3) Remove the five screws shown in the diagram below. This will
allow removal of the pedestal stand.
4) Once you have removed all five screws holding the pedestal
stand in place, remove the pedestal stand from the TV by
sliding the pedestal stand away from the TV.

How to remove stand from panasonic tv model no tx-32 l m d 70

Place tv on its BACK,with the screw holes underneath.Remove the four screws, remove stand, and turn tv over to rest on the sceen (on top of a towel)or some other cloth so as not to damage the screen, and replace screws. The reason for placing the tv on its back when taking out the screws,is that, unless you have a magnetic screwdriver when removing the screws the are difficult to remove as they are deeply recessed.

How do I remove the stand from a panasonic tv. model TX - 32LXD70

The stand is held on by four screws. Lay the tv face down on a flat surface. Cover the surface with a blanket first. Use a regular phillips screw driver. (If you have a users manual see page 7)
The screws are the set just above the stand on the back of the set. The stand will then slide out.
