This is a very common failure on Projection TV sets.
Screen looks 3D
Colors don't line up
One or more colors can't be adjusted when using the convergence menu.
Screen is bowed or warped.

your tv needs a y-load board its like a grafix card as computers have due to overheating the board components are affected this is a manufacturing fault it tends to happen with samsung aswell

What is wrong when my pictures come out light in color streaked from top to bottom. not true color and alsolack of color?

The video chip is malfunctioning. If it's an separate video card then the card will have to be replaced, If it's an onboard one then the entire motherboard will have to be replaced.

You probably have dust or toner particles on the laser lens. Take out the drum unit and wipe the laser lens with a clean soft cloth.
