It will either be the temperature thermostat has broken, and inline fuse link has blown or the heating element has broken. Either way if youare not competent to repair it call a service engineer in.

Tumble dryer doesn't dry. It tumbles but there is no heat

Either your heating element went out or your thermostat (which regulates the temp).

There is no heat

Disconnect power and access your dryer fuses. Check and test your fuses for "continuity". Most likely, a white thermal fuse. Can possibly be your ignitor or heat element as well. Is your dryer gas or electric?

Hoover nextra tumble dryer

Please first check if both fuses or the circuit breaker has not tripped.
If you are getting only 120v on one leg of the 140v power, you may get lights and no heat, otherwise please give the make and model.
