Hp 2820 prints only on right side of page

My HP lj 2820 only prints on right side of a page. tried cleaning but nothing works.

I am having the exact same problem with very same model of HP LaserJet 2820.  I had to replace all the cartridges, including the Imaging Drum.  Worked fine for four months after the remanufactured cartridges were put in and started all of a sudden.
Given the high cost of cartridges vs the cost of a new printer, it seems a waste, but might be easier to buy a new model of the same unit and then I have some spare cartridges.
Thoughts?

    Thank you "All Office"!!  You say: "This is a very difficult repair (not for the weak hearted), and you would need to be tech savy or have a repair center do it."  ...but is there somewhere to read or learn what this difficult repair involves? 
    .
    I am tech savvy and willing to give it try if I could find out more details of cartridge carousel alignment??

This problem has to do with the cartridge carousel being out of alignment. This is usually caused by a cartridge being installed incorrectly or a bad remanufactured cartridge. This is a very difficult repair (not for the weak hearted), and you would need to be tech savy or have a repair center do it.

Yes, you will need to replace the drum unit as well. be sure to shop around so you can get the best price because some people mark up the price for that part. You can check the status of your supplies from the printer itself by pushing the "menu" button the printer and scrolling through until you see something about supplies status then press the check mark button.

Dell lj 5100 shadow print and black streaks
The mfr. & model don't seem right; Dell does have a 5100 but the LJ designation is copyrighted by HP who has a LaserJet 5100.
The rotating drum that transfers the image to paper is smaller in circumference than the paper is long; this accounts for the shadow and the streaks come from the drum no longer being properly discharged and cleaned for the next pass.
I think you need a new drum cartridge and whether Dell or HP made it, you should be able to buy a drum cartridge here:

Left side of page prints blank
Hi there in the paper handling menu check the paper size settings as it maybe as simple as the incorrect paper size has been set in the machine
