Its not an accidental press. And its not the SM card because it doesn't turn off when it is plugged in. So it MUST be a battery error right? ... Wrong. I replaced the battery with a brand new one, same issue. My phone won't even stay on for more than 2 minutes unless it is plugged in.
I didn't expose it to extreme heat, i didn't get it wet, I dropped it pretty hard about a month ago and that would be the only thing that could have caused it. but no problems untill suddenly 2 days ago. Can't think of anything else.

1. Turn off the phone. When inserting or removing a microSD card with your Samsung Rogue, it is advisable to turn off the phone. Hold down the power button and turn off the Rogue before proceeding. 2. Remove and rotate the microSD card cover out of the way. The cover is located on the right side of the phone (when viewing the screen) toward the bottom. 3. Insert the microSD card into the phone. It is critical to ensure that the "microSD" logo on the card is facing up (same side as screen). Press in the card into the slot until you feel it lock into replace. 4. Replace the card cover to keep dirt and debris out of the device. 5. Reverse the directions to remove the microSD card from the Samsung Rogue. Note that after removing the card cover, you will need to press in on the microSD card to get it to eject from the phone.
This problem occur when the phone gets dropped on a high place, water damage or setting on your mobile is changed.
Please follow this basic solution :
1. with the sim inserted on your phone, go to profile and select GENERAL. might you accidentally set your profile to offline mode.
2. check the simcard socket if its clean or well align,might corrosion is the problem that's why the sim fails to recognized.
3. Also clean the simcard itself using an pencil eraser.
4. align the battery terminal,might the power supply is not sufficient if the ground (middle terminal) doesn't reach the battery interface. as well as clean the battery connector.
If the above method doesn't work,consult a mobile service center for assistance,maybe the sim IC or some components related to insert sim problem maybe damage.

Try to format the phone memory, but this will erase all your data, so, first save the info you need- contacts, photo, etc. Shut down the phone, press and keep the keys * , 3, green (answer) and keeping them press power on and keep all for 15 seconds, then release all.
