I have a ricoh mpc 3500, it works fine but i am getting black lines on my copies.

remove the fuser. See the hole in the black plastic assembly behind the fuser? That is what you are looking for. The thermostat is blown. Put some super glue on your finger. Then touch the thermostat and tug. That black mesh pulling back out will reset it. To permanently fix it you need to replace it. A lot of disassembly but much cheaper than replacing it. So long as you know how to do it and where to get the part. Let me know if you need a part number. Otherwise, it will cost hundreds for a service tech to do it. They will only replace the assembly, not the thermostat.

finisher cable not plug into copier. I f you don't have a finisher don't worry about it or you need to remove bridge unit to get rid of code.
