My Handler 135 mig welder , welds and then cut out will not feed no more .Where could I find a parts for internal parts for Hobart 135? I would love to find a direct location to order this internal parts.

is this a lower end machine ? the cheaper machines take the power from the welding transformer to power the feed motor and as a result the feed isn't stable, also is the wire liner and tip in good condition if not replace them, try blowing through the liner with compressed air to clear any dust from the wire

This happens to me all the time. Wear and tear has taken its toll and everything has to be maintained for it to work. Most likely the welding tip is worn and should be replaced. Lincoln electric tips work well and I will replace mine several times during the day. Also check your tension and make sure the wire will uncoil freely from the spool. You can remove the tip and make sure the wire will feed without it. If not, your liner may be worn out. Also a welding Jell will help keep the tip from cloging. It will still happen, but hopefully not on your first weld of the day.

Sounds like the restate that controls the wire speed is gone. Replace it.

check the SCR ,looks like a big transistor mounted
to a heat sink or some of the older units had a relay
in-line with a fuse , I have a older Hobart and it is
a great little welder. If you snap a pic of the P.C.

point out what parts to check.and replace.

Diode get one from your miller welder supplier

If it is new i would not play around with the welder Just take it back to where you bought it get them to replace it under warranty

check main contactor or diode bank.

A schematic would certainly help, give Hobart a call and ask for a wiring diagram. or manual. Hobart are very helpful and may even give you guidance, you may have to pay the postage, they usually fax these documents so it will not cost you anything.

Some welders control wire speed with the amps control, some control amps with the wire speed control. You might try turning things up until it runs smoothly without pushing back. If you're new at welding, it does take some practice until it feels right.
