To use sky+ remote control with LG 42LH3000 you must have a rev ver8 remote controller.
The codes are stored in a database of the Sky remote. If the old codes don't work
you may need to buy the latest Sky remote. Otherwise it is a matter of waiting for the
new Sky remote which may have the updated codes.
Note: LG Support supplied the following for Rev.8: 0206, 1293, 1665, 1174, 1176, 1219, 1280, 0857, 0851.

Once you have the ver 8 controller - code 1176 should work
This models code is 1293 ( Thats on rev 08 remote ).. Works for me
The model code is 1293 but you have to enter it using the alternative method
Go through sky active and choose a-z search, then go on set up my sky remote and go from there, this worked for me, well it should work, it just so happens that i have the same problem, but i just can't find the right model in the list lol

On my LG 42lh3000 the 1176 code worked for my Wharfdale TU250DTR TV recorder remote if that helps anyone.
