How to cnnect the light cables Power and reset............etc of intel mother Board d815EEA

Just parallel to Power LED button you find HDD or IDE LED button, the red coloured wire should be top and the white coloured towards reset connection.

This is was with me too. I know how to fix it. Remove all cables from your cabinet, i mean like keyboard, mouse, moniter etc. Remove your ram too. Then press your power button from 30 seconds. wait for 10 mins plugin all cables and turn it on. Hope it works for you.

from the 1 pin that is single without pair..disregard that then put the pw button.. to make sure short it using a philips or long nose.. if you find the power on button...or just find first the power button by shorting the pins...

the sequnce are pw button reset button pw led hdd led..you just nid to align them to the power button..

Why you should take out all the DIMMS? Taking it out will not power on your computer. Memory card or DIMM(Dual Inline Memory Module) is essential for the motherboard to operate properly or else it will not function and make your monitor comes with no display. You should insert it back from the memory slot to make your computer operational.

Create a folder on your desktop and name it, Intel D815EEA
Download the file named, "motherboards_desktop_d815eea.zip" in to your Intel folder. The *.zip file must be uncompressed. You can download and install a 45 day free trial program called WinZip. Download WinZip from here; http://download.cnet.com/WinZip/3000-2250_4-10003164.html the program named Winrar will also uncompress the file; http://download.cnet.com/WinRAR-32-bit/3000-2250_4-10007677.html
Once the either program has been installed open the Intel folder. Right click once on the file *.zip and from the pop-up window and click, Extract Here. You will need Adobe reader to view the PDF file. Adobe is free; http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/
Open the PDF folder. Open the "A1696401.pdf" file. This is the manual for your D815EEA board.
Open to page 69 motherboard layout. Item "C". Find pin 1. You can zoom in with Adobe by clicking the + sign in the tool bar. Than go to, Table 48. Section 2.8.3.3 page 71 in Adobe.
Front Panel Connector. Example:
Pin 1 is power for the HD_PWR = Hard disk drive, Power LED. Pin 2 is ground for the HD_PWR. ECT...
Case wire colors vary. Normally the solid colors red, green, blue and green are positive. Except black which is usually ground for the internal speaker.
The wire color solid white is usually - negative. So each pair will have a common wire color used for negative.

the code is pin 1....

Try to remove the battery so it reset the bios and then power it up.
