Replace battery and still cannot solve the date and time problem?

you might have to install another cmos battery the one you have might be bador you might have to change it to 24 hr time then revert it back a few times for the computer to realise the change hope this helps

D815EEA2 - No Display But

Try shutdown computer using switch on tower. Restart in "safe mode". Window will pop up and click on "what is system restore", click on that. Another window will pop up, scroll down to "start safe mode", This will take a minute or two. A window will come up and click start or ok. The system will restore back, shut down and restart. Hope this helps.

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to boot

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your motherboard to your hard drive make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they are probably old and faulty ? hope this helps

Hi, i have an "universal

universal box is powered via USB port which is normally about 5v... I would recommend you first check the USB cable you are using, try to also check your USB port or change to a different one. Do you get any LED on the box once connected. do you get and USB to serial device listed under my devices one unit is connected. kindly post back with all this info so that i may help you further.

POWER LED ON BOARD SHOWS THAT IT IS ON BUT SYSTEM DOES NOT BOOTS

Hi...

If that problem is happen check the monitor cable if it is correctly plug to the motherboard, if your motherboard have video card attach try to remove the video card, if the same things happen thee problem is the processor, you need to check the processor, remove it and clean then put a thermal paste so that the heat from processor will absorb by the heatsink, and be sure that the heatsink fan it working to prevent the heat.

Intel d815/eea2 powers up but does not boot

hi im josh in cebu phils. if it turns on but not boot. the problem is no set boot sector is selected. friend try to enter bios set up and then go to boot menu. then select hard drive to boot first.then save the changes then restart the pc. if nothing improves open your pc check the ide or sata cable if it is ok.no cut not losen.try to tighten firmly first then turn on your pc. if it doesnt work the same try to change the ide/sata cable and dont forget to give power supply on your hard disk.ok. good luck

DATE & TIME changes automaically

For starters, thanks for the good description of your system!
If you feel up to it, turn off the computer and open its case, somewher on the motherboard you will find what looks like a watch battery, you may want to start with replacing that battery, - take it out and go to your local walmart or general store and find the same model battery, this should help with the computer loosing time and settings, also if the system is rebooting while starting up I would first take a look at the memory in the computer. Has more memory sticks ever been added to the system, if so you may have two or more memory sticks that are not play well with each other, or you may just have a bad stick of ram. I would test this thory by replacing the RAM sticks or try booting by just using 1 stick of ram and see if the problem still occurrs.

The best way to prolong life of a computer is to blow out dust from the case and cooling fins and power supply regularly, at least every year. That prevents overheating - a primary cause of component failure. Do not overclock. Do periodic full disk backups and intermediate new file ones. Leapfrog between two external disks. They are cheap. Protect them from fire. Laptops - same story,, do not block cooling holes by putting on a blanket while lounging. And turn off machine before blowing out dust. Do not use full PSI compressor air! maybe 20 PSI...
