Our wii is about 6 years old. It was working fine yesterday, today it doesnt even act likes it's getting power. No lights come on. Reset doesn't work, switched outlets...nothing happening.

Wii console's are known to over-heat. Try letting it cool down for a day with no power cables plugged in. Try and turn it on the next day, and if it doesn't work, my best guess is that it over-heated to the point of giving up. And when you plug it back in, blow in all the ports and cables just to be safe. If none of this works, it is either broken or needs more expertise than I can give.

Wii won't power up

Leave the wii power brick unplugged from the wall socket for 15 min then try to plug it back in. This worked for me.

Wii is dead

1. push the reset button and if that doesn't work unplug all cords and memory cards (including sd) from wii and unplug av from the wii and the outlet in wall. Wait 2-3 min or unplug the wii overnight and The trick i use was to literally smack the power supply on the ground and plug it back in. It seemed to work for a few weeks, until you buy a new power cord Don't call Nintendo unless you've got some money. it'll be $82 bucks.

Our Wii has no power no light no nothing

Okay, I had this problem also, it made me freak out, considering it was only 1 week old! what I did, and it worked, is
1. unplug every wire connected to the system (wires to/from wall, to sensor bar, and to/from TV)
2. unplug every other thing connected to it (i.e. memory cards, older controlers, etc...)
3. let it stand off in the dark for a couple of minutes (I reccomend 5 minutes or so)
4. plug the wires back in
5. turn it on
6. put anything else back in (i.e. the memory card)

If that doesn't work, or if this keeps happening, I reccomend bringing it back to the place you bought it (Walmart, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc)
, b/c they can give you a new one, or your money back. However, the warrenty could expire, or not even exist if you bought it online, or if you've had it too long.

I hope I helped you!

Power does not stay on.

Check out the Samsung Tech Help Team But A stuck lens that is then given some 'help' does not bode well- these are very delicate mechanisms- Chances are it is now damaged - and repairing Digi Cameras is not an economic or technicalfeasability
