Need more info like the model number which is printed on the back. It should also show the wattage on the same sticker.
If you can't find these and it was only a home microwave it was most likely only a 700 or 600 watt.

On many models, you press "Stop / Reset" three times.
A hard reset may help: Unplug it from the power line for a few minutes, plug it back in, set the clock, then try again.

Yes definitely that should be working fine again since it only stop working when the bulb blew,so go ahead and replace the bulb so you can use it again...

The output wattage is 1100 watts. It can be found on the second page of the operating instruction manual. If you don't have one, you can download it at retrevo.com, just enter the model number and get a pdf of the manual. Hope this helps you.
There is a thermal fuse that monitors heat from the magnetron, sometimes becomes defective, the magnetron "heats food" filiment will open on occassion, if the exhaust fan is not running microwave will shutdown.
