Good afternoon ... I have a JBL PRX 710 which stopped working .. the symptoms are .. light on flashes but the amplifier does not turn on ... check the output transistors and they are fine .. also check the source and notice that when releasing the preamplifier I have 70v in the main capacitors .. but when the preamplifier is reconnected the voltage drops ... no burned components are seen .. with the detector it does not detect diodes or capacitors in short .. neither burned fuses ... any help is welcome ... or if someone has the diagram and shared it with me ... thanks in advance
Hello Carlos, from what I understand, these speakers are powered by Crown Class D amplifier circuits, I do not have the circuit of this JBL model
I can offer you the circuit of the PRX535, which I think must have its similarity, I pass the link to download it
I hope you can solve the problem
Greetings Franco Dosil

Test the main switching power transistor - the power surge most likely shorted it. Also most of the power sources have a main commanded section and a permanent standby section - make sure that the standby section is powered when the unit is plugged in. Finally short the command relay to power the main section of the power source and check the output voltages, especially the 5 volts line, the one that powers the processor.
