Your fuel and air adjustment needle valves are out of adjustment. On the carburetor look for two small screws next to each other. You will need to adjust those screws. The one closest to the air cleaner is the air adjustment screw, and the other is fuel. If you mess up the adjustments where it will not start, screw both screws in all the way (do not force them), and back both out one and a half turns. the trimmer will start... make more adjustments form there.

you need to make sure your plug is sparking
and if it is wet then the engine is flooded with fuel
press your primer bulb 5 or 6 times and use no choke and hold throttle open when trying to start it

If you have not had a solution by now (I know it's been a month since your post...), I just read on another help site that by cleaning the exhaust port would solve the problem. That port gets gunked up and the motor won't work if it can't "exhale" correctly. Good luck.
