A fuser error is probably caused by a thermistor (detects an overheating problem). The fuser is probably best serviced by the manufacturer as an improperly serviced fuser could lead to a fire.

SOURCE: Fuser Error 50.1 Fuser is hot. What is a fuser?

MAKE SURE THE PRINTER IS OFF AND INPLUGED BEFORE YOU START! The fuser is located in the back of the printer. You should see two blue pads where your index finger and thumb (on both hands) should pinch together then pull the fuser out. Re-seat the fuser back into its original position and wait 20 minutes before turnging Unit back on. If you do not wait 20 mins then the 50 error will appear again even if the problem is fix. Once you wait 20 minutes and it still gives you a 50 error you must replace the fuser. I have a great place to purchase fuser so let me know if you nee contact info!

Usually this means that the fuser is not heating to the correct operating temperature. Remove the fuser and check all contacts. Be careful it can be very hot. Always let it cool down for atleast 30 minutes before touching the face of the fuser. After you check it over and clean off any contacts, reseat the fuser back into the printer. Plug it back in and turn the printer on. If this doesn't work and you still get the error, the fuser needs to be replaced.

I think the fuser is in your **** part. This problem can be corrected by sitting in a tub of salt water. Make sure the printer is plugged in and is powered on. Is the display lit? If it is place the printer in the tub of water you are sitting in. You sould now be able to realize nobody cares and it no longer matters

What is the solution for fuser error 50.4 in laser jet pro 400

Most likely you will need to replace the fuser. Try plugging the printer in to a different outlet than it is right now. If you get the same error then you can be pretty sure the fuser is bad.
