SOURCE: Stapler works intermittantly

If not the power source or cord, the next activation point would be the trigger. Does the stapler make any sort of noise when the trigger is depressed? What type and model stapler is it?

SOURCE: staples are stuck inside the stapler and will not come out

Typically you do not open these up.
Makes it difficult to remove stuck or wrong staples.
I have had good luck removing the staple ram rod and rapping firmly on the **** of the stapler against a wooden table. The idea is jolting the stuck staples into reverse out the way they went in. Tedious process but usually works. Removing the jammed staples in the nose at the striker plate requires using needle nose pliers and a sharp awl or small screw driver used on very small screws.
My T50 Arrow stapler is over 20 years old.
Still works great. Sometimes I slide in the wrong size staples by mistake. The process above usually works.
Good luck!

SOURCE: electric stapler won't staple

On the side of the stapler are the instructions - no joke - stick a flathead at the lip of the metal striker and push the flat head up - while pushing the realse at the back - use A LOT of force - that is how ours popped open. It was jammed in the back with several staples that were not visible as a jamb in the front where the staples come out. the whole magazine will pop out when it is freed.

Blue light on top of staple does not come on and the stapler does not work. Bostitch electric stapler model 02210

Hi,

you might have a stapler jam. Please unplug your stapler and use a screw driver to clear out any staples in the stapling area. Then, you can pull out the stapler drawer and remove any jammed or stuck staplers.

If this fails, please call Bostitch at 1 (800) 556-6696 if you don't have a manual to use to attempt next troubleshooting steps. Thank you.

Stapler isn't pushing staplers through

Open the staple tray and empty out the good staples. Using tweezers, needle-nose pliers or similar tool carefully pull out the jammed staple. The staple may break while it is being removed in which case you will need to repeat to remove each piece of the jammed staple. Check also, the spring to ensure it's not twisted or damaged.

Finally, fix in good staples and continue use.

How do you fix staple jam?

To fix a staple jam in a stapler, you should first remove the jammed staples and check for any obstruction in the stapler that could be causing the jam. If the obstruction is still present, you will need to disassemble the stapler to remove it. Once the obstruction has been removed, you should check the stapler to make sure that all parts are in good condition and properly aligned. If necessary, you should replace any worn or broken parts. Additionally, you should ensure that you are using the correct staples for the stapler, as using the wrong staples can cause jams.

How to take apart model 131 acco heavy duty stapler

Turn the stapler upside down and shake it to see if you can remove any of the staples. Attempt to open the top part of the stapler. If you can, remove the existing staples from the magazine. Then, unravel one end of a paperclip and attempt to remove the jammed staple from the head of the stapler.

My Swingline model 520e jams every other time I staple.

There were a few staples left in the cartridge when the stapler stopped working. I went thru all the steps on bottom for stapler after changing the cartridge with two different cartridges. It makes the noise and puts marks in the paper, but no staples come out of it.

AS 300 electric stapler--pulled out jammed staples but even though it staples, it won't grab the staples (staples as though empty)

What has most likely happened is part of a staple is stuck in the front portion of the stapler where it forms the staple and presses it into the stapler.
You would most likely have to remove the stapler, and remove the binding staple from the stapler head.
