I had just got a brookstone mini Slimline CD v4.0 system and I don't have any remote control for this unit and I'm really trying to set up my Aux input so I can hook something so can you please help me thank you

Sounds like the processor has locked up in the unit. Try powering it right down from the wall socket for a day to reset, and then retry operation. If that does not work, leave it disconnected for about 10 days to erase backup memory completely and then try again. Good luck. Don't forget to give me a "FixYa" rating if this works. Have you tried going into the menu and searching for this function?Also some car stereo's have a sub menu when the radio is turned off or in stanby mode it usually can be reached by pushing your menu button and holding for a few seconds also again the power has to be in standby mode. if this works look through menu for your problem.
