SOURCE: computer not recognizing mp3 player
Hi, I just bought this, and have the same problem. Luckily, I found the solution on SanDisk web site:
https://www.customernation.com/pls/ps/ps.ps_main?p_host=304&p_supplier=5096&p_parm=PSHFAQ&p_subcategory=&p_product=
Just go to your mp3 player and set it to MSC. After I did that, it shows up as a USB device on my computer right away. Hope this helps you too.
SOURCE: The computer does not recognize my Atak MP3 player.
My Zen Vision M Series has worked fine with my Dell Inspiron 1150 for about a year with no recognition problems. However, as of about a month ago my PC denies a connection with the Zen now. In many instances a windows message keeps appearing saying that the the usb ports cannot accomodate the connection between the two fast enough. I had minor problems with the usb ports, however, a simple reconnection resolved the problem. How can I get my computer (which is running XP) to recognize my MP3 player and might it really be a usb problem? Would appreciate any assistance mel4pat2000
