SOURCE: computer not recognizing mp3 player

Hi, I just bought this, and have the same problem. Luckily, I found the solution on SanDisk web site:

https://www.customernation.com/pls/ps/ps.ps_main?p_host=304&p_supplier=5096&p_parm=PSHFAQ&p_subcategory=&p_product=

Just go to your mp3 player and set it to MSC. After I did that, it shows up as a USB device on my computer right away. Hope this helps you too.

SOURCE: The computer does not recognize my Atak MP3 player.

My Zen Vision M Series has worked fine with my Dell Inspiron 1150 for about a year with no recognition problems. However, as of about a month ago my PC denies a connection with the Zen now. In many instances a windows message keeps appearing saying that the the usb ports cannot accomodate the connection between the two fast enough. I had minor problems with the usb ports, however, a simple reconnection resolved the problem. How can I get my computer (which is running XP) to recognize my MP3 player and might it really be a usb problem? Would appreciate any assistance mel4pat2000

How do i download itunes?

Hi shaheelathah

You will go to the Itunes website and download Itunes to your computer,
You will then run Itunes on your computer and plug in your mp3 player.
Itunes will recognize the player and install Itunes into your player...
Note....the mp3 player has to be Apple...Itunes will not work with other players

Harddrive motor starts but stops

Try the 5 R's from apple first:
www.apple.com/support/ipod/five_rs

If that doesn't work, try putting the ipod in disk mode by first resetting the ipod and then pressing the center and play button at the same time at the apple logo. Then if itunes recognizes it, try to restore using itunes.
