Do a hard reset to this set, and then check. There are two methods to reset. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the device from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. I have researched on your issue and found that the Receiver is not capable of processing audio from HDMI input. It will bypass the signals from its HDMI input to HDMI output..
The Receiver has 3 HDMI input and one output. Hence you can use this as a HDMI switch to connect three HDMI devices to single HDMI port on the TV.
In order to get the sound from speakers connected to the Receiver, it is required to make alternate digital or analog audio connection.
You can confirm the information from the manual of the Home Theater System. Please refer page # 36 of the Manual to get the information. I have provided a link where you can download the Manual for the HT System:

it may be the toner collection unit is full. this can cause the toner smears. supply of the toner/?? difficult depending where you are. try your local stationers and or local panasonic dealer

your reciver probabily wont pass progressive through it, Hook the audio from the box to your reciever, and the video directily to your tv, thats a better way to do it anyway, your tv has alot better video prossesor than your reciver , or hook both audio and video to your tv, and run audio output from your tv to the reciver

Hi..have you gotten an answer for this question...I just googled this model number..and about the second one down is the factory service manual...for the model you and I have...there is a way to go inside and solder wire to each speaker leg to make it work that way without the special plastic connector that was the original..
