Will a bad stator kill only one coil 25 hp kohler cammand?

not car moved yah
lost the users manual???
in it is the schematic,
and on said schematic is what kills spark dead.
1: oil switch bad.
2:kill switch bad.
3: wires too those cut or shorted.
it's all there to read, ask maker for the lost manual

That motor has a stator built in and uses a rectifier. The rectifier is probably burned out. They are not cheap.

Try this

First install a known good spark plug and check.

If still not firing disconnect the coil kill wire and test.

If still not firing and the flywheel magnets are good and strong then you have another bad coil. In this case put a voltmeter between the kill wire and ground. Now slowly cycle the ignition switch if any voltage spikes shows up then you a bad ignition that it has fried another coil. If this is the case then you must replace the ignition switch before you install another or the same thing will happen again

These ignition coils are not designed to have anything other ground applied the kill terminal. Applying the battery voltage at anytime will kill it ie intentional application of 12V.

from your model type ch730 25 hp 0040 it seems that
this model does not need or use a smart spark ignition module

please check that you dont have a kill wire from your coil groundin somewhere between kill tab on your coil and the ignition switch

then if you still have no spark replace the ignition module
that has no spark - your engine has been running one 1 cyl
as soon you pulled the h t lead off the firing cyl the engine died
that tells you no fire on other side

i am sure these units do not use any diodes fitted between l/h and r/h kill wire tabs leading back to ignition switch , i think these are mainly on briggs vee twin

I solved it with no help from the professional assistant team. Thanks for no help till I send money...DON'T THINK SO!!! Thanks for wasting my time.

check the fuel pump it is usually on the side of engine take hose off going to carb turn over see if gas pumps out if not pump is bad

is it the 12 hp kohler? if so it is electronic type no points.
have you tried cleaning the flywheel magnet and coil?
use very fine sandpaper and clean them. if still no go gheck kill switch and nothing there is is probally a bad coil.
