It might be the the design is too large<?>. Is it one you created and saved? or something you downloaded? May be try a different file that you know works to test the machine.

SOURCE: Singer Quantum Futura CE-200 Problem

My machine did the same thing. I had several frustrated nights ans then it just started to work. Some suggestions that I had was that there may be dust where the units connect. Not sure what I did, but it worked.

SOURCE: 180E Hoop problem

Joan, there are 3 micrositches on your embroidery unit arm. these switches are depressed when you attach the hoops, it appears from your comments that one switch is not functioning. This could be simple, it is out of alignment or more complex it is broken. Either way you need to take it to a professional for repair.

SOURCE: Futura CE-200 Stops in middle of design and says wrong hoop size

Dear cjnations
Firstly we must all remember that the CE200 is a very particular machine and requires that you follow certain procedures in order for it to run smoothly. When using the small hoop, firstly you must make sure that the small hoop is selected on the screen by going to Tools, Select Hoop & clicking on small frame. Once this has been done and the design selected, you must then attach the small hoop before sending the design to the machine. If you attach the hoop after sending the design, the machine will give you the error message.
Good Luck!

SOURCE: Design is ready, when green light is pressed nothing happens

I have had good luck contacting the Singer peoplee themselves. Sometimes it takes a couple of days for them to respond. But, if that doesn't help try this.

Can you go forward a few stitches annd then start?
If not, try condensing your design by 1-2%. This was recommended to me by Singer when I had part of a design that wouldn't stitch out. It did the same as your whole design. I tend to think it is the digitizer, not the machine in my instance. Have you tried another design by a different digitizer?
Hope this helps.

E10 this is the code my machine is giving

There is very little posted about error E10, except this. It indicates the machine is broken.

My Singer XL400 gives me error 10 saying the hoop size is wrong no matter...

FWIW, there are a lot of complaints about this particular model. Hopefully, it is still under warranty...

My xl400 singer embroidery carriage has stopped working. Will not move at all when machine is turned on. Also keep getting msg error about hoop size but no hoop attached.

The switch for "sew" or "embroidery" must first be in the "embroidery" position.
Make sure the connections are very firmly pushed in.
If it still isn't functional it may require some small motors to be replaced. The motors are what makes the hoop move.

SINGER QUARTET FOUR IN ONE HOOP ERROR

There are a couple of reasons that this can happen. First, download a patch on the singer Futura support site, www.futura-support.com. Download the patch, close the Futura program and double-click on the downloaded file. It may help with your error.

The second reason it can happen is because the USB plug on these machine is out a little too far, and the cable often doesn't seat quite as solidly as it should. Put the cable plug in the machine, making sure that it sits squarely and securely, and tape it in. When you unplug, do so from the computer side and leave it in

If you've applied the patch and taped the plug, the third reason might be the USB cable itself might have a loose wire, so that it works some time but not all the time. If that seems to be the case, try another cable.

Why do i get hoop errorwhen setting up singer xl 400

What error are you getting? Is it saying that the hoop is too small for the design, when you KNOW it isn't? Click on the whole design to make sure that there isn't a stray "dot" that really is outside the hoop. Also, you might want to use the Futura basic program to center the design to make sure. Also make sure that your hoop is firmly in the holder on the embroidery unit. Check in the "hoops" category to make sure that your large hoop is specified.

There is a patch that cuts down those errors that you can download at the Futura Support site. Once downloaded, close the program and double-click on it, and it will install, and then you can reopen the program.

Another thing that can cause that error is an incomplete USB connection on the machine side. Unfortunately, that's one of the "quirks" of the machine--the plug should have been recessed a little more to support the cable. To get around it, make sure it's seated squarely and deeply as possible, then tape it in and disconnect from the PC side.

Singer futura xl 400 problems

Skipping stitches are caused by a bent or poor quality needle, and never by software.
Use only Schmetz needles if you want good results.
Use Classe, Singer, Unique, Tailorform etc if you want poor results.

Embroidery unit

This can happen, click back to tools option check whether hoops selection is correct. If this is not the problem, off your machine then put on again. If message remain pull out the embroidery carriage & push in again. Hope it can work.
In jam situation, just exit from your embroidery option, fix the jam by moving the embroidery carriage, work on a different design and see if it work. Sometime a design may not work fully.

Singer futura ce-200 problem, pattern mis-alignment

I have had similar problems in the past.
Do you hear a noise from the embroidery unit when the misalignment occurs ? If so, I suspect that your issue may be that you have some resistance under the hoop. Is there extra material that may be rubbing on the machine or catching somewhere. I have found that if I use some masking tape to keep all of the extra material from hitting any other parts of the machine or dragging under the edge of the hoop this error does not occur. FYI: I also stopped using the "optimize stitch speed" option at the same time. I believe that material dragging was causing the problem, but I still wonder about the stitch speed optimization feature.
