Kohler EFI trouble chart.
Suggest you replace spark plugs and air filter if you haven't recently. Check for water in fuel. There is another fuel filter in the EFI system but not likely your problem.

fuel delivery probblem might be vapor lock(to much heat getting to fuel lines and carb) may also have dirt in fuel bowl on carb and in tank ,gas tank lid may not be venting . it will be one of these three things

i had a problem similar to this. what i did was i took it to the dealership where i bought it at and it was the EGR valuve that needed to be replaced. i ended up paying about $500 for the whole thing because i had it installed at the dealership. you can order the EGR valuve and install it on your own. it takes about ten minutes to install it.

Your carburetor needs cleaned,you had gas in it that you drained out and replaced with new ? What engine do you have tecumseh,briggs,? Anyway remove carburetor and take apart get acan of carburetor cleaner and spray though jets in carburetor and blow out jets be carefull not to blow out needle seat !

it is hard to tell you that but if you take the the bulb plat of and blow it out it should work but make sure that the gasket is in place it well have a small hole ate the top i think fore the air to go threw it
