SOURCE: my split air con unit is leaking water from the unit in house
The things that you can check yourself are
is the indoor unit level?
Are the filters clean?
The area the water is draining to free of obstruction?
Is the drain actually draining?
----Get a cup of water and pour it over the indoor coil (please make sure the power is off first please) If the water does drain then it is prolly a bigger problem.
Prolly your unit is short of gas and need a refrigeration tech out to check. That it isnt ice-ing up but you would notice the performance drop.
Hope this helps

Hello. Thnaks for choosing FixYa for assistance.
The A/C compressor will not engage (get power) if there is not sufficient freon in the system. There is a pressure switch that opens, and eliminates power to the compressor (pump) if there is not enough freon (which creates pressure), to close the switch and allow the current to flow to the compressor. Check for leaks at the condenser (in front of the radiator).
That is the most common place for leakage to occur.
The graciousness of a FIxYa rating for my assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thnanks in advance.

is there a flashing light on the unit? If so it will correspond to a needed repair. check your manual to match the number of flashes to the warning it is giving you.

If the unit is mounted on an outside wall check the condensate drain that comes out with the line-set to the outdoor unit. If the pipping goes up into the attic than you have a small condensate pump that may have failed. The float in the pump may have stuck in the down position not allowing the pump to come on.
SOURCE: air con not working. Operation
First check your timer on and off. If you want to reset, remove batteries from remote and power off to unit. Reset it. Now run the unit. Set temp mode once again in your remote and wait for 3 minutes. If still out door unit not working, check power line to out door unit.
