If your Navman GPS device has frozen on the main screen, you may be able to resolve the issue by resetting the device. Here are a few steps you can try to reset your Navman GPS device:
Press and hold the power button on the device for about 10 seconds until it turns off.
Disconnect the device from the power source and remove any batteries or memory cards.
Wait for a few minutes, then reinsert the batteries or memory cards and reconnect the device to the power source.
Press the power button to turn the device back on.
If the device does not turn on or the issue persists after resetting the device, it is possible that there may be a more serious problem with the device. In this case, you may want to consider seeking assistance from Navman customer support or a professional repair service.
It is also a good idea to regularly update the software and maps on your Navman GPS device to ensure that it is functioning properly and has the most up-to-date information available. You can usually find software updates and map updates on the Navman website or through the manufacturer's support resources.
Ebay is sometimes a good source for parts, but you would still have a used machine. I have some bread machines for sale that are used and some are new. All of them work. I can sell them for $20.00 used and $30.00 new plus shipping (usually about $12.00) if you are East of the Mississippi. Just email if you are [email protected]
An informationl note about Black and Decker products is that there are replacement parts for anything they make as long as they have no discontinued the model number. Once the model number is discontinued they have aftermarket replacement parts for 5 years only.
