If you can't boot successfully you'll need a repair disc or operating system disc so that you can get to a command prompt (black screen with white writing) and run the check disk command.

To run the check disk utility you will need a repair disc ora operating system disc. Put the disc in the cd drive and boot fromit. You want to get to the Dos Command Prompt (Black screen with whiteletters) and type the following command: chkdsk /r
Check disk will run well over an hour or two and you will notice thepercentages going from high to low, this is normal. Let it run tocompletion. Then reboot machine.

If check disk fails to solve your problem you might have to reinstall windows.Try doing a Repair Install that way you don't loose your data, documents,music, pictures, videos or programs.

In windows xp you get to the dos command prompt by selecting R for repair whenthe options appear.

In Vista and Windows 7 you want to get to the recoveryconsole and look down at the bottom of the window for the Dos Command.If check disk does not solve the problem you will probably have to reinstall your operating system. Try to do a Repair Install so that it does not delete your data.

insert a WinXP Cd in the CD rom drive and restart and let it boot from the disk, let it install the OS again...format the HD (u will lose all data there but ur machine will come back)

There is issue with sound driver so pls install the sound driver which is Vista compatible.

you are not disable the signature sheck because this signature with window

go to tools->options->security
click on "macro security" button
change security level to "medium" or "low".

be aware that low security on macros means viruses can attack your computer through word documents. don't leave it on that setting for too long.

formattt that hard drive sound like bad secters in hd run xp dish cheak chdisk u know to fix those bad secters on hd froma bug or sumthign best best u have orginal xp cd not recovery dish operting system disk boot into that del partions make new one then formatt it then install xp fresh update it so on ok

Try updating the Media Center using Windows Update, this could give you a recent fix.
